Avery joined our team of veterinary technicians early in 2023. She is no stranger to the veterinary field, however, as she has been a registered tech since graduating from SIAST’s Veterinary Technology program in 2005.

In her role with our team, Avery enjoys being able to educate pet parents and help improve patients’ quality of life. Avery is certified in laser therapy treatment, Fear Free veterinary visits, and is a veterinary cannabis counsellor!

When not at work Avery enjoys horticulture, crochet, making jewelry and spending time with her partner, their children and 4 cats: Izzy, Blanche, Frank and Henry as well as their leopard gecko, Hunter! Avery is also an active member and advocate of Regina’s 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
