Veterinarian
Dr. Celina De Rose
Dr. Celina De Rose grew up in Quesnel, BC, and recently graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. Her passion for veterinary medicine began at a young age, growing up surrounded by pets and spending her spare time volunteering at her local shelter. Her compassion for animals, combined with her interest in medicine, ultimately led her to pursue a career caring for both exotic and companion animals.
Celina was drawn to South Saskatchewan Animal Hospital by the fast-paced environment, the opportunity to see a diverse variety of cases, and the chance to support animals and the people who love them during some of their most critical moments.
Her veterinary interests include exotic animal medicine, ophthalmology, preventative medicine, and end-of-life care. She especially enjoys the variety and meaningful relationships that come with working in veterinary medicine.
Outside of the clinic, Celina enjoys reading, baking, and hiking. She is also a former competitive gymnast and was inducted into her hometown's Sports Hall of Fame—an accomplishment that reflects her dedication and determination both in and out of the gym.
At home, Celina is kept company by her Chihuahua, Ozzy, and her two cats Scully and Flynn
