Dr. Haifz Ammar graduated in 2021 from PMAS Arid Agriculture University in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Originally from Lahore, Pakistan, Dr. Ammar developed a passion for animals at a young age, inspiring him to pursue a career in veterinary medicine, dedicated to help animals in need. A significant professional accomplishment of Dr. Ammar's has been becoming licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Canada.

Drawn to South Saskatchewan Animal Hospital by a strong interest in emergency medicine and the opportunity to help save lives, Dr. Ammar enjoys the fast-paced nature of emergency and critical care. He is especially passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets during their most critical moments.

Outside of work, Dr. Ammar enjoys spending quality time with family and exploring new destinations with his wife.
