Dr. Sereda joined our team of vets in December 2024, allowing South Saskatchewan Animal Hospital to expand our services in advanced and orthopedic surgery. Born and raised in Dawson Creek, BC., Dr. Sereda pursued a career focused on interacting with animals where she could also contribute to their health and comfort.  In 2012 she graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine and today, enjoys using science to help her patients. Dr. Sereda thrives in surgery and particularly enjoys fracture repairs -they are like puzzles, each having its own unique challenge. She recognizes that, in this field, learning is lifelong throughout her career and she is passionate about expanding her knowledge and skill regarding new techniques, technology, and treatments.  Dr. Sereda shares her home with 4 pets: a husky mix, hedgehog, leopard gecko, and a corn snake! She also has a blue belt in taekwondo, in which she has won multiple medals for in competition, and is fond of crafting, quilting and sewing as well as being active outdoors.
