Gerald

Gerald graduated from Ebonyi State University in Nigeria in 2017. He has also completed additional training in human healthcare, including a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, and is currently pursuing GMC UK registration, reflecting his passion for continuous learning and professional growth.

Originally from Lagos, Nigeria, Gerald has always loved animals—especially large-breed dogs—and admires the unique bond and loyalty they share with people. His passion for veterinary medicine is driven by his desire to help both pets and their owners through challenging times and to see animals return home healthy and thriving.

Gerald was drawn to South Saskatchewan Animal Hospital because of its skilled team, advanced equipment, and strong learning environment. He values the opportunity to expand his knowledge in emergency and critical care while working alongside experienced professionals.

Outside of work Gerald enjoys reading and is always looking for opportunities to learn something new. He previously cared for a beloved dog named Major, who was originally his parents' pet, but quickly became his own. Major left a lasting impression on Gerald and helped strengthen his lifelong love for animals.
